How to apply for admission to Kodiak College, UAA

New students and students who have not taken classes in the University of Alaska system for 2 years or more need to apply for admission. Students must apply for admission before they can register for classes.

Step 1: What type of student are you?

There are two different applications for Kodiak College: Degree Seeking and Non-Degree Seeking.

Degree seeking students...

  • Are admitted to a degree or certificate program.
  • Are eligible for most financial aid and scholarships.
  • May register for classes during priority registration.
  • Pay a $40 application fee.

Non-Degree Seeking Students...

  • Are not eligible for financial aid.
  • Must wait until open registration to register for classes.
  • Do not pay an application fee.
