Dennis Harris

former kodiak student Dennis Harris

Dennis Harris attended classes at Kodiak College from the fall of 2009 to the spring of 2010. He took two semesters of math with Jesse Mickelson, sociology, history, nutrition with Dr. Cindy Trussell, and physics.

He says his favorite Kodiak College class was sociology with Thia Falcone. He also remembers being photographed for Kodiak College brochures and being told to "look excited". The photographer told him to try a little less excited because it looked like he was making faces. Then everyone started laughing and the photo session fell apart. Eventually they all gained their composure and got photographs that worked. Swipe left to see the brochure.

Dennis went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology in 2014 from Whittier College and a Doctorate in Pharmacy and a Graduate Certificate in Education in 2018 from the University of Southern California.

Dennis is looking forward to returning to Kodiak College as an instructor, he is set to teach a nonprescription drug workshop at Kodiak College in the fall 2018 semester.
