Celebrating Alutiiq Cultural Revitalization Workshop

The Kodiak College Nursing Program, Alutiiq Studies Program and Cama'i Club hosted a free workshop via Zoom titled  "Celebrating Alutiiq Cultural Revitalization: Pathways to Individual Health and Community Wellness". The workshop was held on Monday and Tuesday, December 7th and 8th from 9am-3:30pm. There were movies, presentations and panel discussions. Local presenters included Alisha Drabek, Candace Branson, Susan Malutin, Hanna Scholl, Judy Simeonoff, and others. Also featured was Lewis Mehl-Madrona, MD, PhD who studies Western medicine and Indigenous healing.  Recordings of the sessions are available below:
