Computer Information & Office Systems (CIOS)

What we do:

The Computer Information & Office Systems (CIOS) program provides services if you are just getting started with computers, if you need to develop more advanced office skills, or if you wish to be more efficient using a computer.  The CIOS Department offers a wide range of educational opportunities including Microsoft Office products, Adobe products, Keyboarding and general office skills.

The CIOS program mission is to promote student success and lifelong learning by providing relevant academic education and technical skills for administrative professionals to meet Alaska’s business and industry needs

The friendly instructors are available in the CIOS Lab to help you with Blackboard, UAOnline or general computer questions.

Computers are available for students upstairs in the Campus Center when the building is open.
