Biography

I grew up in Kodiak and then moved to Anchorage to attend the University of Alaska Anchorage. I recently earned a B.S. in Biological Sciences and also graduated from a biomedical research program where I focused in environmental chemistry. I currently perform commercial fisheries research for the Alaska Department of Fish & Game, and plan to attend a scuba diving research program and graduate school in the near future.

My hobbies include backcountry snowboarding, mountain biking, reading, country dancing, beading, and shamelessly binge watching How I Met Your Mother. I greatly benefited from working with tutors while I was in college, so I am eager to share the Learning Center resources with fellow students.
