Scheduling at the Test Center

Tests are by appointment only.  Before scheduling, take a look at the calendar for days and times available.  Hours are subject to change to accommodate test appointment requests outside of regular hours. Spring and Fall semesters - morning tests must be completed by noon and afternoon tests by 5pm.

University exams - be sure to fill out a proctor form for your instructor before scheduling your first test.

 You will need a UA ID, UA Username and Password. If you need assistance with obtaining these please contact student services.

Placement Testing Accommodations

If you have a disability and require accommodations to complete the placement tests, it is recommended that you contact Student Disability Services at least one month prior to your scheduled placement test. The Student Disability Services office will need to review all documentation and make arrangements for your accommodations.

Free testing for University of Alaska courses. Testing also available for Universities outside Alaska, ASE, PSI/Atlass, PSI True Talent/FAA, (including Unmanned Aircraft Systems); Pearson VueGED, Accuplacer, CLEP, DSST, Educational Testing SErvice (ETS) including: PRAXIS, GRE,TOEFL and ParaPro; Scantron, ABC Certification, National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT), Automotive Service Excellence (ASE), KAPLAN, ATI (TEAS), ABYC Certified Marine Technician, SafeServe, Kryterion, Public Safety Testing, TEEX, DEC Division of Water, LSAT.

Test Day

Bring  a current Government issued ID that has your photo and  signature. If you are applying to UA you will need your UA ID number for the Accuplacer.
No food or beverage allowed in the Test Center. Lockers are available to store your personal items.
