Bonnie Dillard will be offering 2 community education art classes starting January 28th 

Drawing Without Perfection:

This beginning/intermediate drawing workshop will pull from the "Drawing on the Right Side of your Brain" book by Bettyhand drawing on a vertical board Edwards, but with an emphasis on intuitive drawing that focuses more on the act of drawing as observation as opposed to "picture perfect" images. We will work from life when possible and from photos when necessary.  This workshop offers ample time for practice!

4 Saturdays, January 28-February 18, 4:30-6:30pm, Technology Center room 102
Cost: $110

Mixed Media Art Workshop:

This is a workshop that will explore a variety of materials and combinations of materials that can result in playful, yeta painted birdhouse hanging outside meaningful 2 and 3 dimensional artworks.  The techniques explored will include collage, transferring images, painted textures, adding 3 dimensions to work, playing in old wooden boxes, and "mock encaustics".  We will identify themes for our works and begin; the possibilities are endless!
