It’s time to celebrate the start of a brand-new school year — PTK style!

Join us on Thursday, August 28th from 5:00 to 7:00 PM on the Kodiak College campus lawn for the Phi Theta Kappa Kick-Off BBQ - an event packed with free food, fun games, and all the community vibes you can handle.

We’re firing up the grill for burgers, hot dogs, and plenty of sides, with games and activities for the whole family. Whether you’re a returning student, a curious community member, or brand-new to campus, this is your chance to kick back, meet new people, and get the inside scoop on everything PTK has planned for the year ahead.

Phi Theta Kappa is more than just an honor society - it’s a launchpad for leadership, scholarships, service, and lifelong connections. Come learn about how PTK supports students, how to get involved, and why this year’s chapter is ready to make waves.

Rain or shine, we’re making this happen - because we’re Kodiakans and a little weather won’t stop us. If the skies open up, we’ll move indoors and keep the good times rolling.
