College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP)
Kodiak College CAMP exists to provide educational and wrap-around support services to eligible migrant or seasonal farm workers and their children during their first year of college.
Steps to Apply
- Review the eligibility checklist below to determine your eligibility.
- Complete and submit the online application for admission to Kodiak College.
- Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
- Complete and submit this CAMP Application.
CAMP Eligibility Checklist
- Student must be a permanent resident or US citizen.
- Student must be a first-year incoming student (completed 24 or fewer college credits AFTER graduating high school or earning a GED; college credit earned in high school will not affect eligibility).
- Student must be enrolled as a full-time student at Kodiak College (12 credits per semester).
- Student must have participated in the Migrant Education Program (MEP) at any time during K-12 grades OR be from a Migrant/Seasonal farm work or fishing family OR be eligible to participate or have participated in NFJP section 67 of WIA.
How to Qualify
- Student must be permanent resident or citizen
- Be a first-year incoming student (completed 24 or fewer college credits AFTER graduating high school or earning a GED; college credit earned in high school will not affect eligibility).
- Enroll as full-time student at OSU (12 credits per semester)
- Participated in Migrant Education Program (K-12)
OR Migrant/Seasonal farm work at least 75 days in the past 24 months
OR participated in National Farmworker Jobs Program
This farm work includes work performed for either wages or personal subsistence on a farm, ranch, fishing site, or similar establishment.
Migrant or seasonal farm work includes: any activity directly related to the production of crops, dairy products, poultry, fish, or livestock, the cultivation or harvesting of trees including nursery or forestry work, and commercial fishing.

- Semester Book Allowance
- Supplemental Aid to reduce debt and meet FAFSA
- Health Services
