Create with Canva
Would you like to create aesthetic flyers and social media posts quickly and easily? For non-designers tackling advertisements at work or personal projects like Christmas cards or collage, Canva is much more intuitive to use than adobe software like photoshop and illustrator. It provides plenty of templates, stock photos, graphics and fonts to work with so you can get the job done fast and look professional. And Canva is free for the most basic version.
For the first half of class we will explore the basic features of this online software and its tools via a mini lesson practice project. We will also go over basic rules of graphic design (do's and don'ts).
The second half of the class will be for working on a project of your own choosing.
Please come prepared; with your own free Canva account set up, and email to yourself whatever images or text you will be needing for your own project. Visit canva.com to set up you free account.
