Hem Your Own Damn Pants sewing machine with fabric being sewn

Pants too long? Learn how to get the perfect fit for your inseam. Several sewing machines and irons will be provided or feel free to bring your own. Please be sure your pants have been washed at least once, and bring the shoes you'll be wearing with them.

Marine Mosaics for All Ages with Kathy Johnsontile mosaic fish on a wall

Storytelling 101Sign that reads "story telling"

Storytelling enriches communities, inspires action, and is valuable in the workplace. Would you like to be more confident at public speaking, or overcome your stage fright and sign up for a local storytelling event? Ellamy Tiller will share tools and techniques to hone your story skills.

This one-time workshop uses various techniques and mixed media to explore the ways that art can bring about mindfulness, presence and healing, and help facilitate emotional expression. Work with clay, various kinds of paints, woodblocks and paper.

The Art of Extract Makingtwo bottles of extracts on a table with herbs

Enhance the flavor & aroma of your baking by learning to make your own extracts. They'll taste better and save you money, and can be added to baked goods, sauces, ice creams, frostings, glazes, and beverages! You'll create a citrusy burst of lemon extract, the nutty goodness of almond extract, and the classic: vanilla as both a paste and an extract. Students will get to taste test vanillas and bring home 3 pints of extracts for the pantry or to give as gifts!

Parent/Child Card Making Watercolor Workshop

Parents and children will spend creative time together making their own sets of watercolor cards. Myra Scholze will introduce beginning watercolor techniques, and show how adding rubbing alcohol, salt, or wax crayons can enhance your watercolor paintings.
