Introduction to Pickleball
Pickleball is a popular sport that’s easy to learn and fun for all ages and skill levels. If you enjoy badminton, tennis, or ping-pong, give pickleball a try! If you love playing, you can join the Kodiak Pickleball League! Sign up for a 4 class session.

Marine Mosaics

Learn to create a marine-themed glass mosaic with artist Kathy Johnson. Enjoy playing with color choices and bring home a work of art for your home or garden. Materials are included with course registration.

Hem Your Own Damn Pants
Pants too long? Learn how to get the perfect fit for your inseam. Several sewing machines and irons will be provided, or feel free to bring your own. Please be sure your pants have been washed at least once, and bring the shoes you'll be wearing with them.

Kodiak History & Culture Walking Tour
Discover the stories that bring Kodiak’s history to life, from early Alutiiq innovations
to the rough and tumble commercial fishing of today. We’ll explore saints and sinners,
booms and busts, and epic natural disasters with stories guaranteed to stay etched in your mind.
Your guide, Ani Thomas is a 25 year resident with nearly two decades experience working with both the Kodiak History Museum and Kodiak Maritime Museum. She’s a passionate storyteller and loves to share our amazing Kodiak history.

Introduction to Printmaking
This four week course will introduce students to a variety of printmaking techniques and styles, inspire you to get creative and, possibly end up with some original holiday/ all occasion cards.
Hands-on lessons include design, carving "safety cut" blocks, inking and printing. We will also experiment with mono printing and gelli prints.
Along the way we will learn about the history of/ possibilities of printmaking.

Learn 3 new soup recipes and enjoy delicious & warming soup during this cooking class. Recipes featured are African chicken peanut stew, butternut squash, and cream of wild mushroom. Self Defense for Women

At this workshop you will learn martial arts techniques that use leverage and skill for effective self-defense for any body, without regard to size or strength.
