Biography

Jordana Ashman is Kodiak College’s Scheduling and High School Initiatives Coordinator.  Jordana provides advising for all high school students taking classes through KoC, whether at Kodiak High School, homeschooling, or attending Kodiak College.  During the school year, Jordana maintains office hours at Kodiak High School, as well as in Student Services at Kodiak College.

Previously, Jordana taught English classes at KoC and other UAA campuses.  She holds a BA in English from Wheaton College, IL; an MA in English from the University of California, Davis; and an MEd in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Idaho.  She is a member of NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising.
