SGA Seeks Nominations for Staffulty Excellence
Kodiak College Student Government Seeks Nominations for Staffulty Excellence Award
Kodiak College students are invited to recognize the Kodiak College faculty and staff members who have made a meaningful difference in their college experience. The Kodiak College Student Government Association (SGA) is now accepting nominations for the Staffulty Excellence Award, an annual honor celebrating outstanding faculty and staff who demonstrate exceptional dedication to supporting students.
The Staffulty Excellence Award recognizes individuals who go above and beyond to promote the interests, needs, and wellbeing of students within the Kodiak College community. Through mentorship, encouragement, advocacy, and everyday acts of care, many faculty and staff members play a vital role in helping students succeed both academically and personally. This award gives students the opportunity to acknowledge those contributions.
Each year, up to one faculty member and one staff member may be selected to receive the award. Recipients are chosen based on their demonstrated commitment to student success and engagement, as well as their positive impact on the Kodiak College learning environment.
In addition to receiving a commemorative award, honorees will also be designated as Honorary Members (non-voting) of the Kodiak College Student Government Association Governing Council for the following academic year. This recognition highlights the strong partnership between students and the faculty and staff who support them.
Student Government leaders say the award is one way students can express appreciation for the people who help make Kodiak College a supportive and welcoming place to learn.
Kodiak College students who wish to nominate a faculty or staff member are encouraged to complete a nomination form describing how that individual has positively impacted their experience at the college.
The nomination deadline for the Spring semester is March 27.
