Statistics Class with Free Supplemental Instruction

Take Elementary Statistics (STAT A200) with Jesse Mickelson at Kodiak College this semester!

The course is offered via flexible delivery, meaning students may attend either in person or via Zoom on Monday and Wednesday mornings from 10:00 - 11:15 am.

Thanks to funding from the UA Health Program Strategic Investment initiative, this semester's course includes FREE Supplemental Instruction (SI) sessions throughout the semester to help students succeed. SI is an academic enrichment program in which a tutor attends class and holds dedicated group study sessions, creating and developing a learning community. Sessions are ungraded, optional, and free to students enrolled in this course.

A student who took a chemistry course supported by Supplemental Instruction in the spring said, "Our SI [tutor] was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable and had great stories that applied to the content. He was friendly, engaging and helped me understand the chemistry/biochemistry subjects better."
