Maritime Workforce Coordinator
Biography
I Graduated from Foothill High in Sacramento CA in 1993. Moved to Grand Forks ND and
attended the University of ND (did not finish). In 1999, I joined the US Coast Guard,
and will retire Sep 1, 2025. I First came to Kodiak in 2004, stationed at Air station
Kodiak and flew all over the state, visiting places such as Utqiagvik (Barrow), Attu,
Dutch Harbor, Port Clarence, Nome and many others. I then moved to Houston Tx in 2009,
then to Mobile Alabama in 2013 where I met my Wife Jill, who is a board member of
the Kodiak Arts Council. We moved to Kodiak in 2018, and intend to stay. I Attended
Grantham University, earning BA in Criminal Justice in 2013 and attended Springhill
College, earning an MBA in Logistics and Supply Chain Management in 2021.
