Voice Thread Resources

VoiceThread is an interactive visual collaboration and sharing tool that your instructor may employ in your course. As a student you may be asked to create a VoiceThread, comment on a VoiceThread, or watch a VoiceThread.

 Faculty Support 

There is a bit more to learn for faculty wishing to use VoiceThread in their courses. However, this is an amazing tool for interactive asynchronous time with your students. Students are not limited to interacting with text alone. Another benefit of VoiceThread is that faculty can change one slide at a time and not have to re-record an entire screen cast. In addition, all of the comments all have automatic machine captioning (faculty and student).

  1. Faculty will want to learn how to use the platform.
  2. The next step will be to learn how to set-up assignments for the students.
  3. Finally, faculty should edit the automatically generated captions on their media.
