Kodiak College Hosts Scholarship Information Events

Kodiak College announces a series of free events designed to help students and parents navigate the scholarship process and secure funding for their educational goals. 
These events are free and open to all Kodiak students, prospective students, and community members interested in pursuing scholarships for college regardless of what college, university, or trade school they may plan to attend. 

Parent Scholarship Information Night
Date: Thursday, October 3, 2024
Time: 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Location: Kodiak College Campus Center Room 126

This informative evening is perfect for parents and guardians who want to learn how to support their students in the process of finding and applying for scholarships. College staff will provide guidance on where to find scholarships, how to prepare materials, and answer any questions attendees may have.

Scholarship Workshops
To further support students in their scholarship journey, Kodiak College will be hosting a series of hands-on workshops throughout the Fall Semester where participants can receive personalized assistance with applications, essays, and more. 

Dates and Times:
Monday, October 7 & 14: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Wednesday, October 9 & 16 and November 20: 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM

These workshops will be held in Room 126 of the Kodiak College Campus Center and will cover a range of topics including scholarship searches, application completion, essay writing, and best practices for finding and securing funding.
